About

Troop 820 and Troop 820 G

Wasatch Peaks Scouting Association was formed at the end of 2019 as a Chartered Organization of the Scouts of America.

We are the Chartered Organization of Troop 820, a 45-year-old Scouts BSA Troop.

We also charter Pack 820.

Troop 820 is led by trained youth leaders.  Each member of the senior leadership of the troop has completed National Youth Leadership Training.

Our Adult Advisors, Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Troop Committee Chair, and COR are Wood Badge trained with years of experience.

As an active Troop we meet weekly as a Troop and Patrols and camp monthly following an annual plan developed by the Patrol Leaders Council (Scouts elected to lead).

We are actively in the process of starting a Troop for girls under separate leadership.

Our pack serves boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  We have great leaders that serve our pack. Dens (grouped by grade) meet 3 times a month to complete adventures. Our pack (all dens together) meets once a month to hand out awards earned and do fun activities.  Some of the things we’ve done in the past are: the Pinewood Derby, Star Wars night, campfire programs, t-shirt making, rockets, a bike rodeo, and the Cub Annapolis.

We welcome all interested parties to contact us for more information.
